Pre-requisites:
Students should have attended our Simulator Introduction Class and able to traverse on both heel edge and toe edge on our simulator.

Outcome on the Mountain

Link Your Turns

This class is designed to help you progress from edge control into smooth turning transitions, building the skills needed to ride with flow and confidence on our simulators.

You’ll learn how to change edges correctly, connect your turns, and begin riding continuous lines through C-turns and S-turns.

Pre-requisites:
Students should have attended our Simulator Introduction Class and be comfortable performing figure of 8 movements on both edges.

Heading to the mountains for the first time? This class prepares you for one of the most important beginner skills—getting on and off a chairlift safely and confidently.

You’ll learn essential one-foot riding techniques to help you move around the resort, navigate lift queues, and exit the chairlift with control. Perfect for first-time mountain riders or anyone looking to build confidence riding one-footed.

Still building confidence with your edges? We recommend taking our Fundamentals Class before booking this session.

Perfect Your Turns

Take your riding to the next level by learning a more active stance and smoother turning mechanics.

This class focuses on improving your S-turns through stronger body positioning, better movement patterns, and early edge change techniques. This will help with preparing to ride steeper and more varied terrain.

Pre-requisites:
Students should have attended our Simulator Introduction Class and are comfortable performing S-turns using the back support bar.

Recommended for:
Riders with some prior mountain riding experience, as the skills taught in this class are especially valuable for on-snow progression.

  • How to ride in a more active snowboard stance
  • Better balance and movement through turns
  • Early edge change techniques
  • Improved S-turn flow and consistency
  • More dynamic and controlled riding posture

Students should have attended our Simulator Introduction Class and are comfortable performing S-turns using the front support bar.

Recommended for:
Riders with some prior mountain riding experience, as the skills taught in this class are especially valuable for on-snow progression.
